Our instructors are the heart of MV Test Prep. Each member of our team brings a wealth of knowledge, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to student success.

Instructors

Abigail

Founder & Lead Instructor

Abigail has her B.S. in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from Georgia Tech and over 20 years of experience helping students excel in standardized testing and STEM classes. Her personalized approach and deep expertise have led countless students to success.

Anish

A mechanical engineering student at Georgia Tech, Anish tutors students in math and science. He excels at making complex topics clear and engaging for students.

Anne

Anne has her PhD in Teaching with a concentration in Language and Literacy Education. She is a certified teacher and has spent decades helping students with essays, SAT and ACT prep, and all high-school level ELA courses, including AP English Literature and AP English Language.

Daniel

Daniel is a Georgia Tech grad who is now a certified teacher. He has years of experience tutoring for the SAT, ACT, AP Macroeconomics, and AP Microeconomics.

Jim

Jim is a retired teacher with decades of experience in math instruction, up to and including AP Calculus BC.

Lisa

Lisa is a certified teacher with 20 years of experience teaching high school math, including AP Precalculus and AP Calc AB. She also works with students on the SAT and ACT.

Melissa

Melissa is a retired teacher. She tutors AP US Government, AP US History, and AP Psychology.

Sharon

Sharon has her master’s degree in Biology and enjoys connecting with students to increase their skills and knowledge in all levels of biology, chemistry, and environmental science. She also works part-time as a college instructor.

Staff

Shari

Shari ensures everything runs smoothly at MV Test Prep. After 30 years in education, she’s spent the last 6 years using her vast insider knowledge to help families navigate testing and tutoring.

Charlie

Charlie is our mock test proctor and makes sure students understand the general timing and structure of the ACT and SAT.
